In this blog post will explore the top iPhone widgets available for download. We will cover the best free and paid widgets across aesthetic and productivity categories. Whether you're looking to spruce up your home screen, add some entertainment to your device, or increase your productivity, we've got you covered. We'll provide detailed descriptions and screenshots of each widget. By the end of this post, you’ve downloaded the top 4 best apps for widgets.

Aesthetic

  1. Widgetsmith

One of the most aesthetically pleasing widget apps for iPhone and iPad is Widgetsmith. With highly customizable widgets that range in function from photos to dates, weather, and astronomy, it is a very good app. With the freedom of customizability, you can customize each widget precisely to best fit your desired function and appearance.

The interface is very simple. You can add a small, medium, and large widgets on the homepage. You can also add lock screen widgets. If you add a widget, you can choose a template or edit the template to your liking. The app also integrates with Apple Health, so you can add widgets to your home screen with all your health information. The weather and tide function is only available in the Widgetsmith Premium option. The premium option costs €1.99 per month.

2. Color Widgets

The second aesthetic widget app is ColorWidget. The app has even more widgets than WidgetSmith and even more customizability. The app offers wallpapers, app icons and a ton of widgets:

  • Time, date & battery

  • Daily, hourly & current weather

  • Music & playlists

  • Calendar

  • Analog Clock

  • Quotes & custom text

  • Reminders

  • Step count/pedometer

  • Sunset & sunrise

For $2.99 a month or $19.99 a year, you have the premium version but I think the free version is enough for just customizing your home screen a little bit. So if you want to customize your iPhone or iPad home screen to the next level, ColorWidget is the app for you.

Productivity

  1. Todoist

I used a ton of widgets for productivity, but one app really stood out for me. Todoist is a to-do list app for anything. In the app, you can add projects and tags. But the widget is really useful if you add the widget to your home screen. You can add a task with one click on the button. There’s also a lock screen widget where you can add a task with one click on the button. The app offers a small, medium and large widgets for your home screen, so you can choose how many tasks you want to see on your home screen. The app is really for people who need to write down their daily tasks but don’t want to write them on paper and want to see their tasks in one blink on their home screen.

2. Spark

The last productivity app is Spark. Spark is a mail inbox that focuses on productivity and multitasking. You can add multiple accounts in the app to check the inbox of all your account. There’s also a calendar feature in the app itself to add events based on your emails. The app offers a small, medium, and large widgets. On the large widget, there are a few buttons: a button for searching in your inbox, one to check your calendar, one to see all the files you’ve sent or someone else sent to you one to compose an email. This app is for people who have multiple inboxes, want a calendar built in, and need a really useful widget for their home screen.
